Disputing errors in your CoreScore Credit Report

The CoreScore credit report contains information maintained by CoreLogic Credco. However, your lender may have obtained a report that contains additional information from the three national consumer credit reporting companies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. If you are unsure whether the information you are concerned about comes from CoreLogic Credco or from the national credit reporting companies, we encourage you to get a copy of your CoreScore credit report first. How do I dispute information contained in my Corelogic Credco consumer file?

If you believe information contained in your CoreLogic Credco consumer file is inaccurate, here’s how you can notify us to dispute such information:

  1. Call us at (877) 532-8778.
    Our customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM pacific time to assist you with the dispute process; or
  2. Mail us your dispute. Our address is as follows:

Please provide us with the following information in order to assist us in reinvestigating your dispute:

  1. Your full name;
  2. Your current address, including apartment number and ZIP Code;
  3. Your Social Security number;
  4. Your date of birth;
  5. A description of the item(s) of information contained in your CoreLogic Credco consumer file that you believe are inaccurate, along with a detailed explanation as to why you believe these items may be inaccurate; and
  6. Your telephone number (in case we need to reach you to obtain more details or information regarding your dispute).

Once we receive this information, we will reinvestigate the disputed information, update your consumer file if our investigation determines that the information is incorrect, and send you the results, usually within 30 days.
